Just took my LR308 out for the first time and got to shoot it. From bullet #1 to #20, the brass was not ejecting and caused double feeds. The upper is a Panther DMPS that I bought as a complete upper. I chambered a round removed the mag, fired it and it still wouldn't eject the brass. It did on several occasions attempt to eject the brass but it got stuck in the ejection port as if it didn't have enough momentum.  I am gonna tear it apart completely (Bolt Carrier) and make sure the extractor has the spring and pivots like it should. I checked the brass and there was no marks on them even indicating the extractor was engaging the brass. Any Ideas, never had this problem with my AR15. Anyone have issues like this or problems with DPMS Bolt carriers?

My Armalites (AR-10BF and AR-10BNMF) would short stroke with anything less than 180gr ammo when they were new. They would cycle OK, but not hold open on the last round. The problem fixed itself after 100 rds or so. So lube the BC like crazy and try some heavier rounds before you go to the expense of major mods.

Well guys, I feel totally stupid and inept. I got home made dinner and just broke down the rifle. The extraction lever was flopping around. take it apart and theres no spring in it,not even fragments. I go back and think, when i first got it i half assed broke it down, oiled it and put it in the rifle. Complete stupidity on my part. I have to think it didn't have the spring when I got it. I thank you guys for the advise.
