Mixed on that.  Do they even have registration?  Was the media correct (because we know how accurately they report "gun facts")?  Maybe they were checking serials on reported stolen firearms?

Checking for a stolen gun would be my guess. We need to get away from this practice, they could just take down the serial number and check it without taking the weapon, there was after all no crime committed.

Looks like they will have back strap for Christmas dinner!

In California he used evil lead-content bullets to murder-poach-steal (one crime, even worse if the innocent deer was eating granola) a buck just looking for a little tail.  Probably on another buck, that intentionally broke off his on antlers because he gender identifies as a doe.
