Your favorite 300 BO Mag?

What is everyone running for mags on 300 BO? I'm having feeding issues with Gen 2 Magpuls but the Gen 3 runs fine. Kind of a drag because I had three Gen 2's cerakoted to match my pistol in order to help avoid any mix ups. They run fine in three different 5.56 rifles but not for my BO pistol so now instead of clarity I have confusion..........

What color did you have them Cerakoted, Jim?  If it's a standard color and not a custom-mixed color, I'm getting ready for a Cerakote Frenzy on some shiit, and I can paint up a few mags for you.

It's a custom color, burnt bronze with some black to match the trimmings on the pistol. I haven't tried a lancer in it yet, if it works then I may go that route so I can actually see the bigger round. I knew if I posted up you guys would get me on the right track!

I've been running plain old GI mags with no problems. I've used some Magpul 30's too but I don't know if they are Gen 2 or 3. I'm just now getting into loading the heavier subsonic bullets and it's my understanding that's where mag problems start cropping up so my experience with mags may be worthless!

I use the Lancer 20 rounders. They take full capacity and are a compact overall package.

I've been running IMI 30 rouund mags for my sub-sonic loads and have had no issues.

I'm using whatever the fuk gi metal mags, either green or magpul followers.

 

I have a gold or silver paint pen on order from amazon and imma write "this is sparta" on them.

 

get it? Because they are 300...

 

I only use magpul mags for my ar10 because thats all I could find at the time.  Plastic mags are too bulky.
