Interesting photo opportunity

A coworker, former boss has a brother who is a 1911 nut. He buys these guns that take years to get and cost thousands of dollars. This dude agreed to let me come over and take pictures of everything. I know one of the guns is in a gallery here

WOW.

Looks like some 40 LPI checkering on the back of that slide - that's smart as hell.  <thumbsup>  That whole hand-cannon is VERY slick.  ;)

this is all high end iron, $5000 and up. So many little nuances that the casual observer may not notice. His latest his Ted Yost 10mm 1911 about 2 years in the making.

All of this guys guns are just as nice inside as they are outside.

There was also a single action revolver. I believe it was a flat top made by US Arms or something. Not my thing but a fine specimen regardless.
