survivalshop
It had to be somewhat tight to begin with , so getting it lined up & use Rock set, as has been mentioned , it should be fine . Getting it lined up correctly will be the key , proper Head Space , would be another . AR Barrel specialists , like ADCO , will have a Jig to make sure the Gas Port is drilled correctly to align with the Feed Ramps & the Barrels extension alignment Pin . Also they could turn the Barrel down , re-thread it , ream the Chamber , if needed ,to align every thing . not to mention doing all this to have the proper torque for the Extension to Barrel . sketch
shelved this barrel since.. just had a thought in another thread for radical firearms. now i have the tools, time to dig it up and try to straighten things out? I did do a test at work for 175 ft/lbs with the wrench.. and a tourque wrench (3') no way can i turn a nut with a standard wrench!! to 175'lbs. I did maybe 80 with a 9''. and that made my eyes bug out.
98Z5V
I've got a snap-on 1/2" drive torque wrench that'll do 250 lb/ft. Ship that barrel and I'll give it a shot at alignment.
