unforgiven
Found this article that I found very moving. The meat and potatoes of the topic come from the words the came from a Seal Commander on the Ted TV program that he spoke on. I have never been a bus driver and have always tried to lead by example. Their is a lot of strength in the words this man speaks : https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/2071a0c6-b24d-3294-9bd1-d897157f5dbf/ss_the-secret-of-a-living.html I have never had a problem sayin I fuked up, I have made my mistakes ,corrected them and moved forward. God bless our Veterans and our Troops.
bubbas4570
I agree with this totally. Now too put a little bit different spin on this, it's interesting to see how different people react to the admittance of screwing up at work in civilian life. Some take it as a joke that this happened to me some sign of weakness /stupidity, and some actually will respect you more for admitting it. The ones that you learn to respect are the ones that respect you more. Exactly how it should be no matter what station in life you are on or what you are doing. Sisco
I don't have the time for games anymore. If I screw up I admit it and move on. If someone else screws up and admits it I accept it and move on. If they offer excuses or blow it off, I write them out of my life as a friend or to be trusted. I wouldn't trust them to tell the truth after that. It isn't the screw up, its the lies and BS covering it up I can't stand.
shepp
Jocko is a bad ass mother, I've listened to many of his podcast (some are hard to listen to) but he is one hell of a motivator and sounds like he was one hell of a team leader Edited September 19, 2017 by shepp
