Small Primer 45 brass

If any of you ever run into the guy who came up with the idea of using small primers in 45acp, do this to him.

Even though I culled through it, somehow 3 small primer brass evaded me in my bin of 225 45 acp brass. Popped the decapping rod three times. fortunately on Lee dies they can be reset and don't just break. Still, just a pain in the neck.

  I still see some once in a while.

yeah last time i reloaded i had a s ton of it and asked my shooting partner to stop buying that brand..

Completely agree. It was an answer to a question no one asked. A pointless "innovation". I just throw them in the recycle can.

Three brands to watch for: CCI Blazer, Federal, and Perfecta(Italian). They all look so similar I am pretty sure it is one manufacturer doing it for all three. Probably Perfecta, Which is a subsidiary of Tula, I believe, or distributed by them.
