bubbas4570
What are your opinions, uses, or whatever on these? I guess I don't even know enough to ask decent questions....but is one worth using? And if worth using, which one? Virtual Private Network just in case somebody thought I mistyped VP9... jtallen83
My experience with a vpn is if security is a top priority then yes. If not then don't bother, generally slower, does not allow sites to use your location so things like the weather and mapping sites take more effort to use each time you use them. I have to use one for certain work product and it can be a real pain with some programs. Some will not function at all for me on VPN. DNP
I have one set up to access my AutoCAD at the office. Without a screaming internet connection it's pretty rough. If I have more than 20 minutes worth of work to do, it's better I just drive to the office. I have it for home sick or home with the kids situations where I still need access to my workstation.
