Scope mount sugestions

Hi. I was wondering in you guys opinions whatis the best scope mounts I can use to give me close to 2 inches from the A2 stock to the bottom of the scope? I recently bought some utg scope risers from the cheaper than dirt store and when i put them on it just looks really high and weird. The setup i had before were just a 1 inch ar 15 riser with my Bushnell banner scope and rings that are cheap. I have a dpms lr 308 classic. I did find some barska ones from gender mountain. But they are 44 dollars. Thanks for your input.I don't know aboit you guys but i think the scope and rings you have really set a gun off. Thanks

I use mounts made by American Defense Mfg on my ar15s, when the lr308 is ready for optics it will get a mount from them as well.

I've been thinking of what mount for the 308 too.

First I was going to go with the burris PEPR but now I think I'll go with JP like i have on the little AR.

^^^  GG&G mounts are rock solid, and full of quality.  <thumbsup>

I like them, as well as American Defense mounts.  I know I'd love LaRue mounts, but I've never owned one personally, so I'll keep to what I know.  ;D

I like them too, but for my application they do not apply because no use having QD mount withough BUIS, and the rifle I'm building dosen't have a gas block rail so theres nowhere to put a front sight anyway!
