@Pete,  John still runs the matches.  State Championships are the best big/little matches you'll ever want to attempt or attend.  Prizes,  both skill and luck of the draw.  Once a year an introduction type clinic,  and several matches,  open to the shooting public.  $30 non member.  Arrive early,  volunteer to help set up,  if you're able,  and have a great day.  Last Championship I attended a young woman took top honors.  Her Dad I believe was a USMC instructor,  and she had been shooting from an early age.  Good Luck.
