98Z5V
NICE!!! YOU "PULLED THE TRIGGER!!!" That the factory recoil parts that came with the gun? That's pretty interesting, if so. Sprinco Orange (or, is that the Sprinco Red?), H2 buffer... 3.250" buffer, so it should be the Red spring. Very nice. I have two very special LaRue AR rifles in the works right now, and that might mean 4. Depends on the timing of the Siete rifle(s). RedRiverII
Red, 3.25 as shipped from Laue. Just cracked it open for the first time. Of course it's going to be 4, because you can't get to 5 before you get to 4. Looking to get to the range shortly. I pulled the trigger 8 months ago, almost forgot about it. Mechman
Curious of which gas tube the Wilson Combat 20” 260rem rifle length uses? Wilson carries 2 different rifle length gas tubes and no specs on the barrel other than rifle length. I’m building a new upper with a Aero M5 upper. Mechman
I’m guessing the difference is ones for a 15 and the other is AR10. Isn’t the DPMS AR308 platform use all AR15 gas tube lengths.

That's exactly what DPMS used to do, on the LR-308 platforms - but that doesn't mean that's the same thing that every other company does - even if they state "DPMS pattern" or something like that. You need to get your barrel in-hand, and measure the center of the gasport distance to the center of the cam pin cutout in the upper receiver. Then add 0.600" to that dimension. That'll tell you what the length of your gas tube needs to be. Exactly.
