ArmaLite AR10BA2 Rear Sight

I hope this is the right forum. I just got an ArmaLite AR10BA2 (you know the one that looks like a 7.62 mm NATO M16A2) and I am wondering if the numbers on the rear sight elevation drum actually correspond to ranges for the 7.62 mm NATO ammunition.

It didn't give me any specific pics of the rifle configuration, though. 

EDIT - I re-searched it, and changed it a little.  Searching for "Armalite AR-10B A2" bring up more.

Pretty good video on it, still watching it - don't know if this guy addresses the Elevation Drum or not...
