survivalshop Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 I got the three pak of battle mags & I can tell you , they are impressive.Comes with two different floor plate options , I think , has a pull tab on the bottom for faster removal from rifle or mag pouch , at least I think so , I have to read up on them.I will take some photos tonight & disassemble one for a look see , but the feel of this mag. is very gripy & wet /sweaty hand or gloves , will not have a problem getting a hold of it .This is not a wanna be copy of the Magpul ,Pmag .
BR-549 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 http://store.troyind.com/Troy_BattleMag_3_pack_p/smag-3pk-00bt-00.htmNot too shabby for 14 bucks apiece!
imschur Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Nice find. I see Brownells has them too. I have a $25 gift cert I can apply <thumbsup> I look forward to your pictures
Jgun Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 I've been wanting to try these. Survivalshop, can you tell me, do they have the internal center rib in the front like the Pmags, or are they flat like the Lancers? I'm wondering if they might be well suited to 300BLK loaded long?
survivalshop Posted October 29, 2011 Author Report Posted October 29, 2011 It looks like the rib is forword a little compared to the Pmag. You get to keep the pull tab or they provide you with a replacement adaptor to eliminate it .
98Z5V Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Impressive - first time I've seen one apart. SS, this has convinced me to pick a couple of them up, no kidding. I'm a Pmag 'Ho, since those things came out, and have refused to even try anything else, based on those. I will try these now. <thumbsup>
