Upprer compatibility with Armalite lower

Are there other makes of 308 uppers that are compatible with an Armalite lower?   Appreciate any guidance.

If you're referring to the Armalite 10B lowers. Not really anymore. Noveske used to make their N6 uppers that were to the Armalite spec. But they've ditched them, and have switched to the DPMS pattern i believe.

The Diamondback uppers might. They are cut at an angle as well.

Diamondback uppers produced prior to 1/1/2021 were produced with a 16 LPI DPMS pattern barrel nut, Diamondbacks produced after that date use an 18 LPI barrel nut... these later uppers might be compatible with the AR-10 lower? (more research is def warranted)... why did Diamondback do this? why to further screw up the AR-308/AR-10 rifle builders... in addition ArmaLite does NOT sell a separate AR-10 lower... they do note that Eagle Arms will sell you a lower?? confused yet??? billy

It doesn't matter which barrel nut holds the barrel on if the receivers fit together and the pins hold them together. Eagle arms is owned by Armalite.

OK, ArmaLite actually has 46 AR-10A lowers on the website this morning, so yes they do indeed now sell lowers, my bad...

So Diamondback is really gonna confuse people now, and they are not the only ones messing around with their specs

There are no specs for the large frame guns. Each manufacturer does what it wants. If you are buying parts you hope they all work together if they are not from the same manufacturer.

They're a decade or better behind in that accomplishment. Lots of makers have morphed over time, I can't imagine all the R&D some parts must take with all the variations........ then again seems like a lot of companies rely on customers to discover the issues.
