Scope Mount Hold Zero After Removing?

I searched on here and didn't find the best scope mount for an AK 47.

Internet search says Midwest industries is an excellent one. Apparently you have to remove it to remove the dust cover. One reviewer said he could remove and re-install and his scope was still zeroed. I'm skeptical unless folks on here say it's true. Will some of you folks tell me your thoughts on the matter?

Never gotten a Midwest Industries part that wasn't quality but my experience with optics on an ak are zero.

RS Regulate are very good if you can find one available.

Does your AK have a dovetail on the left side of the receiver?
