I don’t mind it not having the decocker, I grew up rabbit hunting with a single shot 28ga so de cocking is easy. But a double action trigger would be nice

shepp
@Rsquared sooooo today I stumbled into my buddies gunshop, he had a fn 502 and 509 in the shop I wanted to fondle them side by side. I love how my 502 feels in my hand and it’s suppose to be built off the 509 chassis. I really don’t want to get into an other caliber but man it fits well! We get talking about the 502 asks me me if I’ve done any internal work on mine? Says no? He tells me I need to get a stainless guide rod and an sig P250 spring. It’s crazy how much stiffer it is with it but he said he’s had zero cycling or extraction problems since so I go home Google it its 30$ in parts Only cost me 929$ cuz I ordered a fn 509 tactical too……
Belt Fed
I have a 502, i'll tell a story about FN customer service. I locked the first one up tighter than a drum shooting it suppressed. don't know what happened but it was gone. took it to a gunsmith and he said it was toast so he sent it back to FN for me and they sent me a brand new pistol. Guess it wasn't worth fixing. could really tell what happened to it but the whole lower grip assembly was locked up. the backpressure from the suppressor got it i guess. i have shot the new one suppressed some, maybe 100 rounds so far. That’s wild on all accounts, how many rounds did you have thru the first one? have you had issues with subsonic ammo and lead nose ammo feeding? I’m hoping this solves it cuz I love the gun especially suppressed when critters FFO 🤣 https://www.taylor-tactical-supply.com/sig-sauer-250-22lr-recoil-spring-p/101-0frs-p250.htm https://www.taylor-tactical-supply.com/fn502-recoil-guide-rod-p/101-ssgr-fn502.htm
Belt Fed
It was new, i had probably 200 rounds unsuppressed and about 50 suppressed when it locked up. don't think i run any subsonic through it or the one i have now but no problems feeding lead nose on either.
