EdMP3006 Posted August 14 Report Posted August 14 Hey fellas, after years of female cat-footing around, it's close to hitting the range...sorry for the cutoff picture, I was in a hurry when I took it, promise a better later...also, the scope is not in it's final spot, I had to check something with the rings and also realized I have about 1/4" or less clearance between the shade and the top of the rail (DD Lite ;)...the barrel is also 24"... Can't wait to get this to the range to zero it... 98Z5V...I might have a question inbound about ammo to zero it with...

Armed Eye Doc Posted August 15 Report Posted August 15 I would save the FGMM Juggernaut for long range. I hit one mile with my 308AR with that very load. I zeroed with FGMM 175 grain.
MtnMike Posted August 15 Report Posted August 15 I like to take multiple ammos when I do an initial sight-in. I've found some rifles seem to prefer a certain ammo or weight class of bullet. So, I find what groups best and then go from there. Sometimes you get a gun that's a real omnivore that likes to eat a variety of loads. Hoping you've got one of those!

Hope so, it was put together with pieces, not bought assembled…the barrel is a 24” DPMS SS bull barrel and the bolt is also a DPMS…
98Z5V Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 Those ASYM 175s and Nosler CC 175s will be oerfect for sight in. Run the Garmin, and see which one does better on numbers.
