Is he a member on this board? Does he frequent it at all? I'd really like to get a couple of his KR7 uppers and a lower. I've got awhile to wait while I'm over here, but hoping to have the parts by the time I come home on leave.

Kaiser and JD Machine were the same company at one point, out of Yuma AZ.

When they split ways, a nasty lawsuit came about.

Kaiser slipped off into the distance as JD's popularity sky rocketed. It's a shame too. The KR7 was an awesome attempt.

They were originally San Diego, brother, not Yuma - the single company, then both companies.  When they split into separate companies, they were both operating (separately) in San Diego.  It was Kaiser Defense, then.  When Kaiser moved to Yuma, that's when the name changed to Kaiser Military Technologies...  <thumbsup>

It was under the Kaiser Defense name, back in San Diego, that the KR7 was developed.

The read-ups I've done on JD Machine have all been good. I just love the way the Kaiser receivers look.

They were using Mega Arms monolithic MA-Ten's. Although that was before their recent extinction.
