SDDuc996 Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 Is he a member on this board? Does he frequent it at all? I'd really like to get a couple of his KR7 uppers and a lower. I've got awhile to wait while I'm over here, but hoping to have the parts by the time I come home on leave.Anyone? Anyone know the answer? Bueller?
imschur Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 I have not heard from him since March 2010. His website is down with "account suspended" http://www.thekaiserworks.com/main.php
SDDuc996 Posted August 19, 2012 Author Report Posted August 19, 2012 DAAAMMMMITTTT!!!! I'm hoping he frequents here still and sees this.
Robocop1051 Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 Kaiser and JD Machine were the same company at one point, out of Yuma AZ. When they split ways, a nasty lawsuit came about. Kaiser slipped off into the distance as JD's popularity sky rocketed. It's a shame too. The KR7 was an awesome attempt. If you're looking for something similar, check out www.ProofResearch.com
98Z5V Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 They were originally San Diego, brother, not Yuma - the single company, then both companies. When they split into separate companies, they were both operating (separately) in San Diego. It was Kaiser Defense, then. When Kaiser moved to Yuma, that's when the name changed to Kaiser Military Technologies... <thumbsup>It was under the Kaiser Defense name, back in San Diego, that the KR7 was developed.
Jgun Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 Anyone know what receiver set and handguard, Jense/Proof research are using on their large platform AR's?
SDDuc996 Posted August 20, 2012 Author Report Posted August 20, 2012 Thanks for the replies guys. The read-ups I've done on JD Machine have all been good. I just love the way the Kaiser receivers look.
Robocop1051 Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 Anyone know what receiver set and handguard, Jense/Proof research are using on their large platform AR's?They were using Mega Arms monolithic MA-Ten's. Although that was before their recent extinction.
