survivalshop
I went to order from Brownells the other day & nothing would go into my cart, the new format is nice ,but clicking on there help button , I found there new sight is not compatible with some windows ,like my windows XP. Looking through there fix's , I see that it would work with updated Firefox , so I updated it & away it went , no problem ordering or using there filters for specific manufacturers parts or firearm specific needs .Don't know if any one else has had any problems , but I just about order weekly from them . planeflyer21
I did have an issue with it the other day. While perusing the website, poop kept getting added to my cart, and the next thing I knew I got an email telling me credit card had been charged by Brownell's! At least I can tell my wife someone else is having issues with it. ;DI don't like the new look. And Brownell's prices are not quite as competitive as they used to be.Jon
imschur
I think they launched the site to meet a deadline rather than when it was ready. When they launched the last site it was not great at first then they tweaked things for the better over time. They will fix it. Support for XP's browser is disappearing fast across the web.Regarding pricing. Brownells is usually more expensive but they support many things other companies like Midway refuse to do. 308AR.com is a perfect example and why I operate this site without any sort of paid memberships. survivalshop
I have saved shipping on so many orders this year with the discount code here , its a very good thing. My orders never get below $ 200 & man, no shipping cost is a big thing with me. It seems I order weekly.I have been dealing with Brownells for over twenty five years ( might be longer , don't remember when I started ) & they have been great , top quality & they stand behind what they sell . shepp
i find their site hard to navigate and i dont like there discription of their stock, ive yet to order anything from them partly because of this. i dont like how they lump a bunch of things in a dicriptionIE bi pods: bipod BS its 6-9" CS is 9-13" AL has telescoping legs that click into lock SL use a pinch lock TD has a swivel head then you go down into a list of bi pods and next to them are a bunch of those letter and i always gotta look back to the discription and it takes alot of time and kinda confuseing. maybe im over exagerateing, but i find it frustrating. imschur
Whenever possible I try to be armed with a manufacturers part number regardless of who's site I order from.
tackleberry2000
I like the new site. Seems a bit friendlier to me than the old one. My only problem I've had with my recent orders is forgetting out free shipping code here. :D
planeflyer21
Having used it a few times, it is a friendlier site. I like being able to filter results when doing searches.Jon
Robocop1051
I think I found a preexisting bug is still affecting the new site. I was on the other day and my credit card was charged several hundred dollars. <lmao>
