Vortex 2.5-10x44 Viper PST

I got a good deal on a Vortex 2.5-10x44 Viper PST in a Burris PEPR mount off my local shooting forum.  I was initially thinking that I would get something with more magnification but this Vortex was a good enough deal that if I don't like it on the LR-308 I'll use it on something else.  I had not got to look at the PST line but was just going off their reputation. I haven't been to the range with it yet (just got it this evening), so far it is an impressive scope.

Anyone have any opinions on them?

Unfortunately I've only had one trip to the range with it and didn't get to spend much time on it yet.  Hope to remedy that soon.
