shepp Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 http://www.armslist.com/ has anyone used these guys?I haven't but I've got friends that have. I've looked for guns on there before tho
seasprite Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 I'm the same as Shepp I've looked but never bought or sold.
shepp Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 It's free to sell. ;)Yea it's like Craig's list for guns. The gov's trying to shut them down and they are getting sued because a guy In Milwaukee bought a gun off there and killed his x and a few others at a salon in Milwaukee a few Months ago and another incident.
adpdesigns Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 I have just recently used them to purchase a gun . It has been the worst online experience of my life . Not to say it was armslist fault but the vender I made a purchase from , Has provided the poorest effort and customer service I have experienced . Maybe there is something to be said for the free part . Just make sure you qualify ANYONE that you are going to deal with . Aaron
unforgiven Posted December 26, 2012 Author Report Posted December 26, 2012 Sorry to hear about you're experiance brother Aaron, did you finnaly get the firearm? <dontknow>
adpdesigns Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 returned it and awaiting a refund .. the vendor has had my funds since nov. 21st >:(
seasprite Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 I think I would use them to setup a face to face sale at local gun shop so both sides are protected.
SDDuc996 Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 I've tried "contacting" various sellers numerous times. To date NONE OF THEM has gotten back with me.Not a fan honestly.
flatwins Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 I've bought a couple guns off Armslist but they were both local sales. The thing about Armslist is that there is no buyer\seller protection that comes with sites such as eBay. I didn't have any issues with my purchases but I wouldn't be too keen on setting up a deal\FFL transfer with a seller from another state. I'd rather go the Gunbroker route for that and have several times.
