44Dave Posted January 2, 2013 Report Posted January 2, 2013 OK, so I'm afraid that I sadly already know the answer but I'm gonna ask this anyway:I'm a big fan of the forward mounted scout scope. Is there a FF tube stout enough for me to mount a scope on the tube? Or would I have to add a cantilever mount off the receiver? There are some that are long enough, but I didn't really want to add the weight of that or a monolithic upper.Options?

44Dave Posted January 2, 2013 Author Report Posted January 2, 2013 Yes, a scout style is exactly what I am wanting to do. You used that Gen III forearm then? It seems to weigh more than I would have thought with carbon fiber. Does it have any flex with the rail attached to the tube like that?
