98Z5V
^^^ Exactly... If you luck into one, it will be OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED... :oTry to keep track of some of the prices - I bet there's some pretty desparate people willing to pay silly money for things right now. :cookoo:

I have three 20 round and one 6 round mag so I'm not desperate but would like to score a couple of more. Plan on being early before they even open the doors to try to avoid the crazies. Half tempted to take my .308 and walk around with it to just see what kind of offers I get for it. Just to tell them NO DEAL but that would probably be mean ::)
planeflyer21
Do it!Make video on your cell phone. We can start a sticky "Why you should have been broke before the next gumptard shoots a bunch of people!"You'll probably be able to sell the video to "Fence Sitters Gone Wild!"Jon
seasprite
Well I'm back and like I thought just crazy :cookoo: even the local media came out like flies on stink. Showed up an hour before the doors opened and it didn't take long for line to stretch well beyond the doors. I went looking for mags as soon as I went in and found 2 vendors with 308 pmags 4 each. Asked how much $70.00-$75.00 a piece :o Well after seeing a guy buy 2 of them the frenzy got me and I bought 2 of the $70.00 ones :cookoo: but I'm good now I have a total of 5 full mags and one 6 rounder for hunting. I was surprised at how many vendors had AR style rifles today and they were selling didn't pay any attention to price because of the crowds and I was on a mission to get what I came for. I ended up getting an lmt ergo battle grip <thumbsup> and found some 147gr pull downs for $60.00 for 500 the only problem is when I got home I stuck a magnet on them and found them to be bi-metal >:( I'll probably go a head and load them up just won't buy any more I was hoping to have a nice plinking load but I'll have to find something else now.One thing I did notice was the lack of powder and primers today I glad I bought those the last time I went. The ammo dealer were busy as rush hour on the freeway it was basically a zoo today the only tables that weren't busy were the non firearms tables there were 1000 tables today. planeflyer21
I returned a call to a student this morning, who stated he's looking for a rifle...just as a :fawkdance: to the feds for having to jump through hoops in the past.He said at the gunshow last week (the one with cars backed up 1 1/2 miles to park), rifles like M&P15s that were previously $750-800 were marked up to $2500-3000. Gougehole dealers IMO.Jon

seasprite
Seasprite, if you really don't like those 147 pulldown's I'll give you your money back and pay shipping for them. After reading that lucky gunner report I'm worried about barrel life with the bi-metal since my barrel is not chromed lined but I'm wondering if their is an difference between the the M80 ball jackets and the Tula jackets. Give me a couple of days to mull it over and do some research and I'll PM you if I decide to sell.
