6132expert Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 So I picked up what I thought was a 1911 8 rounder for 10 buck today. I got home a tried to slide it in the mag well and it was a no go. Got to looking and where my 1911 mags have a radius on the front side this one I got is more flat. What is the heck did I buy. It is the same lenght, same slope, 8 rounds with the same floor plate.
Magwa Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 might have belonged to a star PD made in spain...
planeflyer21 Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 Could it be a Taurus?Taurus 1911s click right into my others.might have belonged to a star PD made in spain...Isn't the PD the 6-round compact? There's a ton of replicas and copies out there, could be almost anything.Jon

Robocop1051 Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 10mil, dude. You nailed a mag for the Delta Elite. Will .45's still fit 10mil mags?
98Z5V Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 I don't think so, but he didn't say he tried to load it with .45ACP... ???That's the only 1911 mag that I know of that has kind of a squared off front - it's not completely squared off, but it's not rounded like a .45ACP mag, fer sure.
