Magwa Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 The eyes are getting worse by the year what say you? yay or nay thinking about the carbon fiber ones for my Kimber tac 2 since i have all but worn the finish off it it looks sad but oh what a beauty to shoot Wilson springs and bushing and wilson mags.. never ran a laser but know folks that do and they say at night it is the cats meow ...
unforgiven Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 This is cool surprised they don't have it for 1911's http://www.laserlyte.com/collections/whats-new
planeflyer21 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 One thing I do not like about the Crimson Trace...when I have my finger off the trigger (as it should be) and along the frame, it blocks the laser and makes a big ol' honkin' red glow out of my hand against the firearm. While a person may be in their rights to dot someone and blast away under the law, positively identifying your adversary is nearly impossible in the dark with a laser. I recommend bright-and-blinding white lights for positive target ID.We had a guy here last year blast his fiance' away in the dark...swore she was in bed next to him.Jon
Tripledeuce Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 I trie3d one on my Kimber ultra carry. Slowed me down by .75 seconds over an average 9 shot string, using a competioion timer. Got rid of it fast! Respectfully Terry
Magwa Posted January 24, 2013 Author Report Posted January 24, 2013 Well that is a bit disconcerting for sure Hmmmmm will see if the local GS has one but i have ambi saftey so it will not fit anyway unless i get the bobbed right hand side saftey..... well thank you will think on this some more..
98Z5V Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Guide rod replacement - they make guide rods that have the laser incorporated.
Magwa Posted February 2, 2013 Author Report Posted February 2, 2013 my gripe with guide rod is you use their spring I use a wilson combat and my gun loves it so i am not going to change that ... still thinking on this ...
