PRI hand guard

Hey guys I was looking at ordering the PRI hand guard  but I see you gotta buy a part that attaches to make a full rail. What's your guys feelings on it would like full rail on top.

You can use it without that long rail. The standard rail sections that come with it are receiver height (unless you want the delta rail) the bolt in long rail justs connects the handguard to the rcvr.

Blue is correct, it already comes with a receiver height full length rail on top. The part you are looking at just connects the whole shebang, hand guard to the receiver, like in my mk12 build here:

That's a good looking piece of iron. Any advantages to adding the piece?  As far as accuracy?  That's my main goal on the build.

I think the connector piece defeats the purpose of a lightweight hand guard Unless you have a pile of attachments all the way down the rail. If you are scoped and its mounted to the receiver it wont do much. If you have a buis on the end it might keep it slightly more solid..but most of those builds use a gas block buis.

I also think it looks completely awesome and would love to build a mod0 clone.

I don't think so but I like Blue, want to build a mk12 mod 0 clone and that's part of it!

Well it's on the way  <thumbsup> only got to get a BCG order a trigger and wait for my barrel to get done in April.

The full top rail bridges the upper to the handguard, so you can extend your magnified optic forward of the upper receiver.
