Pappy1600 Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 Found this on another forum and figured I would share with you folks, the site tracks ammo sales, prices and availability http://www.gunbot.net/index.php?cal=223556
EasyEJL Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 that's pretty cool. I wonder if this crap is worth buying?http://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/24770says its brass at least, but 112gr?
Pappy1600 Posted February 14, 2013 Author Report Posted February 14, 2013 I wouldn't shoot anything that is corrosive out of my rifles. I would say stay away from it.
EasyEJL Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 oh dang, I thought I read non-corrosive. yeah, forget that
unforgiven Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 Here's another http://www.rifle-company.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?t=431
BigP623 Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Yeah I was gonna say this sentence sealed the deal of me staying awayBrass case, berdan primers, corrosive and copper jacket :cookoo:Of no use to me
6132expert Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 If that was all that was left in the world it would be of great use to me, and we are not far from this sinario! :'(
EasyEJL Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 I managed to pick up some Georgia Arms 168gr jhp match grade for $130 for 100 rounds. Went to the gun show and that was the only reasonable price for decent ammo. It basically was all either just shy of $2 a round, or was steel case Russian military 7.62x51 in those sardine cans for $500 for 500 rounds
