survivalshop
Bought a new bolt action rifle today ,not familiar with the Mossburg line , but this is a pretty neet 308 .20" Fluted barrel , adj. trigger & syn. Stock . Will take photos at the range . I put a 2.5x 10 x42 Nikon Monarch glass on her .Can't wait to try her out , this is the second bolt action I have ever owned , the other being my 1903a3 , which I have owned for over thirty years & still have not shot , but will with this one ,cool. Robocop1051
I hunt primarily with a Mossberg .308 bolt action. Solid gun. Built to last. My father gave it to me as a young teen, and I have been using it ever since. <thumbsup>
telluwhat
<thumbsup> I have always liked Mossburg. Congrats on getting one in 308 ;D
bluzjamer
I should have got the 4x4 308 instead of the 3006. The 06 has a nasty kick. I'm not a wuss either. Have a TCR single in 300 win mag that doesn't kick as bad.
Robocop1051
I'm dead set to buy the Mossberg MVP "Patrol" (its a 4x4 with a magazine) in 300Blk when it comes out. I'll replace the FH with a brake or comp, and call it day... Maybe some paint. Wouldn't mind a Kryptek hydro dip. <thumbsup>
98Z5V
That Patrol is a nice one. They now have the 16" threaded barrel.
survivalshop
All I got to say is , this is one nice rifle . I'm not much of a bolt gun guy & it may be my age , but this is rifle a sweet shooter & 98, I shot my 1903A3 for the first time & that was also a treat . 98Z5V
... & 98, I shot my 1903A3 for the first time & that was also a treat .YES!!! I love mine, brother, big time. I'm glad you got the lead through it! How'd you like it?Seems like the only ammo I can find on ANY shelves right now is 30-06, so I'll be shooting mine more now, until ammo starts to come back. I need bullets (projectiles) so bad right now that it hurts. :-[
survivalshop
Loved it , I plan of taking her out more often. I was at another range last week shooting 200 yds. & had to wait for a group or club that were shooting M1's, 03's & AR's , timed match & that grabbed my interest .
