Pistol caliber shotshells

Any one load shotshell for pistol caliber rounds ?

Does that type of round accellerate barrel wear in pistols? <dontknow>

    In the 80's, I loaded several thousand rounds of shotshells for 45 ACP's.  Had a special set of form dies from RCBS.

    Its lead, for gods sake with a 410 plastic wad !!!  How can it cause un-due wear?

    Also loaded lots of .357 and 44 with Speer plastic shot capsules.

I have found loaded ammo in 22lr , 9mm , 40s&w & 45acp. The only projectiles i have found are .45 caliber. Looks like I will have to get some loaded rounds for trips to the desert.
