Convert AR-15 Mags to 10 rounds?

Drew, I know LaRue is making 10-round 7.62 Pmags now, and the price is good.  I'm not sure if they make the same thing for the 5.56, though.  Worth a look.  You know the customer service, shipping, and everything else would be fantastic through them.  <thumbsup>

A cut down spring & wood spacer . You will have to experiment with lengths of both spring & spacer . ( I think now , it would be easier to just buy them )

I have done it before for a hunt in a state that required a five round mag capacity & I took a scoped  FN-FAL  with an altered 20 rd. mag. I set up to hunt with .

Didn't see a legal buck , but the following year I took a nice seven point with my scoped M1 Garand.

I have seen on ArmaLite's web site, that they have 10 round magazines.

They look like a 20 round mag body but blocked for either 5 round and 10 round capacity. It's crimped so you can not get any more than that in there.

EX0075 = 5 round

EX0072 = 10 round

EX0099 = 5 round (true 5 round, short mag)
