Dane Armory
Any opinions on using a 1-12 twist barrel in a 300 whisper/blackout ? I have a source for a bunch of these. Could also do them in 308 win.
EasyEJL
well, in 300 I'd think you'd want to be sticking to the lighter end of bullets, which isn't all bad, but I dunno then about running it subsonic + suppressed.
98Z5V
Yep, they'd have to be light bullets, in the 110gr range. My 16" 300BLK barrel is a 1:8 twist.

survivalshop
You would most likely have to stay with the lighter bullet weights ,but ya never know , might work just fine . As said, the 1-8 is used for a wide span of bullet weights . Might work fine for a specialty longer range rifle .My 1-8,16" shoots any bullet wt., I put through it pretty damn good . Now the 1-12, 308 sounds interesting.

Kudos for the reasearch, big time, but your question stands alone. Start a new thread, guy. Brand new. Only your question.
