Shell Catcher

I think Ive finally found one that I like but it requires a quad rail which I dont have yet so I guess its time to upgrade.  The only other ones ive found that mount on a rail mounted exactly where my eotech is so I couldnt use them.  This seems like a better option for me.

I shoot off the front deck of my house, yeah I know it's a luxury, and keep losing spent brass between the deck planks. So I've been looking at a brass-catcher myself.

 

When I look at brass-catchers, I keep wondering what the trade-offs are between having a rigid brass-catcher, like BigP is looking at, and the bag-like things you can get. Like maybe the brass gets hung up on the bag, or the bag gets in the way of reaching for the trigger. And so on.

 

Others might have a different idea, but I have to wonder if BigP could put some angle mounts on his scope rail and hang a brass catcher from them.

Now THAT is cool, a hard catcher, but a bag. Hybrid system. Looks good, too.
