planeflyer21
This was interesting: I'd like to see a few schools here with a similar curriculum!
LR308
We trained dissassembly and assembly blind folded during "military service". Unofficial competitions too. The riflr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rk_62
jrtMA
^^^rite of passage in the Army. While in Germany, we used to strip down the M249, M240B, & M16A2, put them in a foot locker, and time each other while blindfolded. We had really good times....and a whole lot of time on our hands to do this and single weapons frequently. Robocop1051
We do similar. We used to take all the parts from a MP5, an 870 and an Ar15, put them all in a box, and then race for assembly.
shepp
I was watching a show on OD channel or Sportsmans channel last week with high school middle school kids shooting on school skeet and trap teams most were from private parochial type schools but non the less. With there was more of that. One was a girls school and the nuns were out there with them it was kinda odd
shibiwan
LOL... reminds me of my military days. Had to strip/reassemble everything from an M16... M240's... all the way up to an M2 Browning. I still remember being able to field strip and reassemble the 84mm Carl Gustav (aka M3 MAAWS) under 30 seconds.
