Bolt Action Base Recommendation

I'm looking for suggestions for a steel (not aluminum) scope base for a Remington 700 short action (.308)

I do not want any MOA elevation.  Any suggestions (best quality for the price)?

I've never seen a steel scope mount. Just steel rings.

   Redfield and Leupold used to make one piece steel bases for most guns.

   I just checked a remington 7, and a winchester 70, both are steel.

 

 

   I just checked Brownells, they list Leupold steel.

Thanks, I just did.  A little pricey, but I found one for about $135.  I heard BO are some of the best when it comes to rings, bases and bolt action hardware.

Leupold makes excellent bases and rings. Look around online and you can get a 2 piece or one for around $100

I am sure the OP has purchased one by now, but if not, I suggest giving Seekins Precision base a look. I was lucky and no bedding was needed.
