So installed my trigger now bolt catch has no tension

Update : so i accidentally dry fired the trigger i had just changed my grip and so te bolt catch went limp again. So i took to smacking the crud out of my receiver and this is the spring i had in there

Was there a Buffer in there with the spring ( Bolt Catch Buffer ) ?

Can you get a pic of that spring, next to a ruler or tape measure?  Hard to tell what it really is, could even be a front sight post spring...

That would be strange since it came from an lpk I'll see if i can find a ruler I'll have to take it back out.

With the bolt catch working & then going limp , sounds like the Buffer is sticking in the hole bore or its possible the hole is bored to long & the spring is hanging up some where in the hole & then slipping down to lose spring pressure or its not the right spring .

I had a hard time taking the little black plunger out when i finally angled to remove the bolt catch pin. So I'm guess it got stuck like you mentioned. For now it seems to work
