An upper receiver with a brass deflector would take care of the problem , if you choose to replace it . Some 308AR uppers are hard to come by lately. texas30cal Posted February 11, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Its a homebuild, waiting for a TM upper to get made, they said that it would be in the first quarter and I see all of the ar 15 uppers are showing in stock so I hope 308 is next, I thought about machining a deflector like one that is forged as part of the receiver and bolting it on from the inside also.
