.308 buffer question--Need help

A heavier buffer would definitely help. Sounds like you're very overgassed with the suppressor.

You'll want this heavy buffer.

Just an update.......I received my new AR10R-XH buffer and spring from Heavy Buffers and installed it in my PRS stock on the LR308......WOW !! What an improvement ! The problem with FTC with the suppressor is no longer an issue and the felt recoil with and without the suppressor is an added "big grin"......hah, hah !! Thanks for the link and all the info.......great forum. I'll post the link again just in case somebody else may be interested or is having similar problems.
