phantomreefer
Hello All, So after looking at many rifles to buy to start a collection (I am very new to this) I ended up being the proud owner an Armalite SASS. I bought from a marine, who built it out himself(with the parts listed below). When I run Hornady(first 200 rounds) down the pipe, she runs smooth as can be. But when I tried a box of Winchester, every other round did not load proper. Can anyone give some input as to why this is happening? Thanks in advance. survivalshop
I'm not familiar with the Hydraulic buffer , but I would install the proper factory AR 10 Buffing system ( spring & buffer ) & test fire the rifle with the factory components installed. What weight bullets were in the different ammo tried ?

Robocop1051
I had that Buffertech Hydraulic buffer installed in my .308 for a while. It didn't cause me any issues, but I can't say you're getting the same results. I'd look around for a standard buffer and see if that makes a difference. BigP623
Yeah if it says "reduced recoil" thats your issue. They are half loaded, or at least it feels like it. Shake it and it sounds like its half full.
Rsquared
I agree with the other guys. Swap your buffer out for a standard one and try again. See what happens.
