pokey Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Years ago I almost purchased a Dutch AR10 for about $700. I'm curious about what it is worth, if Armalite made the rifle, if not was it any different than a Armalite?

pokey Posted September 1, 2014 Author Report Posted September 1, 2014 I for some reason remember the stocks being wood, but not sure, maybe the stocks were a plastic. Were all AR10s at gun shows Dutch imports? Did Armalite sell to the public, always thought so.
Robocop1051 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 I seem to remember the brown plastic years, that some people thought were wood.
jtallen83 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 I seem to remember the brown plastic years, that some people thought were wood. I recently saw a left side brown handguard sell for over $300, the whole rifle should bring a bit at that rate!
FaRKle! Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) IIRC Knight's Armament had a webisode where they were going over the elder Knight's collection and he also had a Dutch AR-10. Jerry Miculek got to shoot it and give his impressions. I think they may have talked about the value too. Either way, it's worth a pretty penny since I think there were less than 10k of them made. Edit: Found the video! Edited September 1, 2014 by FaRKle!

I seem to remember the brown plastic years, that some people thought were wood. Whoa now cowboy...set down the whiskey and back away from the plastic wood. <laughs>
