I've not had the chance to play that game. I have been practicing shooting with "Call of Duty Black Ops II" and let me tell you, it is fun. To bad the practice won't carry over to real life.

Well I just painted my 12" gong I got from shootsteeldotcom. It came as an unpainted target. I first removed oil residue and painted it black. I have never done anything like this before and I know I need practice but I wanted to share anyway. For what it is I think it should serve its purpose. Matt & his father helped break it in before the color target paint job. When we shot it the thing was all black and I put paper on it. That did not work because when the bullet hit it vaporized the paper as the bullet disintegrated on impact. I still sang out to you when you hit it saving you the walk to see if you hit the target, BANG...ding! what fun it is to hear. ;D

Yes, so would I. It would be sweet if there was a giveaway of a few of these for "testing". I am sure it would generate advertising of the product as well as make several people very happy to test them out. I know I would run a many of rounds of 308 out of one if it was given to me. I officially volunteer my time and some ammo for product "testing" and posting a "review" on this site. Now if they are ready for me to begin they can contact me via a pm and we can go from there. ;) <thumbsup>

Thanks brother. <thumbsup> The gong came today and it sure is a lot heavier than I thought it would be. It is without primer or paint or hardware. I need to clean it before I can prime / paint it. I have chain to hang it with & may have bolts as well. Shoot, I may even have a heavy frame as well. ;D just need to paint it and then ...... ping!

Well I finally ordered myself a MEC 600 Jr Mark V for 12 gauge. I also ordered enough supplies for 100 shells of buckshot. I did order extra powder being I had to pay a special handling fee to UPS. I guess they don't want the driver to get himself hurt or something. Only thing I know for certain I forgot is some extra primers. The 100 hulls are coming with primers in them so at least I have that. So I guess I get to go shopping again :-)

A 3/8" thick ar500 12" gong from shoot steel.com should be here late Monday. 8) can't wait to get it set up.
