  1. Cool. I pray that I can still find that gun in a coupe weeks.... waiting is the hardest part. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. <munch>
  2. Is this like the one you have? How does this price compare? It is about $100 more than another store quoted me but they have now removed the 930 from their site. I am not stock n the pistol grip. I want a semi-auto that has a good capacity for a price that I can afford. If thy go up to much I may have to get the model 88 pump for $230, it holds 8 or 9 shells too. http://www.hyattgunstore.com/mossberg-930-spx-12-ga-semi-auto-shotgun-black-finish-top-rail-lpa-ghost-ring-sights-18.5-barrel.html

    Glock 20

Yeah going to a large gun store is my next step. Got to see how they fit. I was just searching a well known gun store in the area, though it isn't exactly close, and found a stainless EAA Witness for under $500 http://www.hyattgunstore.com/eaa-witness-full-size-10mm-pistol-wonder-finish-4.5-barrel.html Wow ;D wish I could go now. I am going to keep looking around and see what I find. More people I can listen to about their 10mm the more I can learn....
  4. Man, I had one of these all lined up to purchase but it has taken so long to get the $ that now I am being told they are hard to find. So I have found a 930 at another place but it is not a pistol grip nor a Black water plus it costs $100 more. Wow, it has only been a short time and may not be until the end of the month before I can actually get it, if I can find one.... I am seriously bummed. <dontknow>

    Glock 20

Those are about the same prices on Glock 20 I am seeing too. What is your favorite Glock 20? I am drawn to this caliber for its power. I am leaning toward the Gen 4 but would get the 3 if it had a better price drop than $50. Full size with 4.6 barrel. They can sure toss a heavy round a long way fast. ;D What do you think about the ported (compensator) barrel / slide? I think for my first one I want the standard.

    Glock 20

Anyone know where to find a great deal on a Glock 20? In the next 3 weeks or so I hope to get one, of course I want to get a deal on one. Anyone here have one? I have been doing a lot of reading and I want a 10mm but Glock is the only one I can afford.
  7. Sweet! That is great news. <thumbsup>
  8. I have been eyeing the Glock 20, 10mm. Again the problem is cost but maybe one day I can get it. By then I hoe to be reloading my own ammo so that would help. There is a sweet 2011 in 10mm called the STI Perfect 10 http://www.stiguns.com/the-sti-perfect-10/ if I had the $ that is what I would get. There are a bunch of 2011 models that took the 1911 and "upgraded" them to be modern with larger capacity mags and what not. Check that site for you fav caliber and see what you think. The prices are high but I think they are quality. I saw a review on line someplace a quick search will find it.
  9. I just look up your new gun Renè at http://www.gunblast.com/SIG-Scorpion1911.htm I like it. You will have to let me know how it shoots once it comes in. Nice <thumbsup>
  10. A lot of great people on this site. My wife was out of work two years before she got a job paying half what she made before. Outsourcing cost a job and then wages. I Had to "resign" at least on paper when in fact I was hurt on the job from inhaling fumes. The contract I have to sign says I can't talk bad about them or give the details f the settlement, I have not yet signed but I will. That company is known around the Charlotte area and has initials HT. I hope to never visit one again. Now I am glad I paid extra to have disability insurance. Only 40% of my wages but better than zero. Still waiting for my settlement $ and also approval by Social Security Disability. It is hard paying bills. We are about two years from debt free and clear on cars and home. Pray we can make it. I pray all who are looking and able can find a great job they like doing quickly.
  11. It looks like this guy like to hunt, or pose with dead dear. I don't know for sure..
  12. Wow that Dillon SL900 is sure pricey. I don't think I could even afford to dream about that. LOL The MEC 600jr is more down my alley or even a Lee that fits in a shoe box. I know if I got the MEC I could afford to shoot a lot more than I could other wise. Especially if I got a small 10 pound smelter and a mold or three to make my own shot. Could cast pistol rounds then too just so I could have some fun shooting up paper. Keep the factory stuff for the "I hope I never need to use it mags".
  13. K
  14. I hope soon. When we get this settlement done (who knows how much longer) We will both be ready by then.... very ready ;)
  15. Thanks Matt
  16. I can but I think I will use this chance to change it :-) This one is more comical than what I had before.
  17. I was away for a while and now that I am back have found my avatar is gone. Can it be reactivated or do I need to provide a new one? I am not sure what happened, I don't know if I click a setting incorrectly? Thanks
  18. Well being I am getting this nice new shotgun I want to do a lot of shooting. So I am going to start loading my own. Once I get decent with it I want to move on to pistol rounds and then lastly to my 308. I have been watching a lot of you tube (lots of crap on there) and finding some gems and I have ordered several catalogues, one of which is from Lee. They have a special set up just for shotgun shells. I learned more in one day then I imagined I would. So I have a lot of learning to do and many questions too. Right off I want to know if there is a press that does shotgun, pistol and rifle and if so do I even want to go that route? For the shotgun I am thinking of casting my own shot just to save even more $. While this may be OK for the pistols too I doubt it for the 308. I would like to know what you guys think before I go crazy ordering stuff. It is likely to be several weeks before I even get my new shotgun and nothing is happening before then and part of me want to get it broken in with factory ammo first.
  19. Very nice. Without knowing I would never guess it was same gun. That is fine workmanship :-)
  20. Yep yep that's about right. I took that saying from a joke about something else that gets banged. I know most have heard it but hey I still made you laugh. <laughs>
  21. So... it is kind of like a screen door.... the more you bang them the looser they get. <lmao>
  22. So when your breaking in a gun what exactly is going on whither the gun? I guess I am asking why do you have to break it in, what does it do? If t was a baseball glove I understand. I am still very new to firearms and trying to learn. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
  23. Yeah ammo isn't getting any cheaper that's for sure.
  24. This is good news and what I wanted to hear. <thumbsup>
  25. For all of you who have the 930, how many of what shell did you use to break it in? I have read that until it is broken in the lighter loads don't eject properly and cause jams. Now this information was dated many years ago so I am hoping that it is no longer the case and I can use a less expensive shot to break it in. I also hope that it doesn't take 200 shells either. When I saw that I was tripping and could only pray that it was either wrong or now corrected. Also does anyone know how long this model has been around?
