Mike and Tom are killin me...though Tom did save me a bunch. RMR, Slide and barrel are in the mail. Just went next door and picked up the rest of the slide parts I needed. I'm down to magazines, a holster and need to decide if I'm going to nut a mag well on it. Color scheme is FUBAR. Might need paint

Saved me about $250....I owe you a beer or two.

How did you know I was going ZEV for the upper?
-
That P80 was easy. Almost too easy.
-
Don't be jealous...wait till you see the 50cal upper for the "other" gun.
-
Feels pretty nice. You can get the compact with a smooth finish and have it done however you like.
-
And because you already allowed a full frame into the competition....I'm counting this as "in".
-
One more whiskey and I'll go get the dremel. Got all the lower parts today.
-
Brought one home the only way I can in Cali without the long wait....bastards didn't have my color...now I gotta rethink my whole scheme.
-
I see how it is....that's where you've been. Hanging out on another forum. Glad you're back up and running. Can't wait to see the next build.
-
Naw, I won't be in the "compact" competition. I even looking at building a basic 17 with a $1k budget, but now that I started hunting all the 19 crap and bells and whistles I've decided a 34 is where I want to go. And the budget has jumped a little. Thanks a bunch....my wife is gonna hate you too.

Buddy...that's my neighbor. I plan to walk next door at lunch today.
-
Didn't have it in men's size, eh?
-
I have to pull a few strings to wind up with the gen 5, but my 10 day wait should start tomorrow.....
-
PHUCK it. It ain't on the list. I'm building a 34.
-
How the hell does that count? That's a full size frame with a 19 slide....dissssssssqualified.
-
....I hate you. I've been looking at glocks lately. And now you throw this out there. You suck.
-
I have a trailer it will fit in too.

If it's cheaper to get to San Diego for anyone I am driving out Wednesday and back Monday.
-
Welcome and good luck on your search.
