Like the washer and dryer, this needs a light system. I mean, something to notify you at (entry door of your choice). As you slide out of the work truck and stroll, (shuffle at your age probably) to the interior of your castle - you can be notified right at the door that you’ll need to turn around and head back into town to pick up something cold. I’ve always wondered - if it tastes like piss when warm, aren’t you just drinking chilled piss?

Turned a leftover porterhouse and a pile of our “free” chicken droppings into steak and egg burritos this morning. Not photo worthy, but they did just fine.

Rubbed mine with some VooDoo from meat church. In the smoker at 250. Left them alone. Checked after 6-7 hours and they were good. A little barky in some spots, but pretty good. They were over 200 and the probe slid in and out easy…like butta. No need to rip anything off them before hand, no spritz.

We just landed one contract for several miles worth of the lines. Waiting on another that’s about 6x bigger. Should be good work.

We’re all good. Was pretty much a non-event for most of the town. They thought we’d get 10-12” of rain. We got about 1-1/2” here. Wind was high, but not as high as it had been. North of us, and our in the desert got hit harder than we did. Glad it wasn’t as bad as they had prepped us for. Could go either way. People commenting on the warnings being overblown, but if it had been as bad as they projected, and they hadn’t said anything…I think people would be pissed about that too. Panic buying was in full swing. Every car I saw at the gas stations for the day or two before were filling cans for the generators. Water and toilet paper we’re getting wiped off the shelves Covid style.

Bah. I was really unimpressed with this. They really like the ramp. Footage and storyline were bordering on the lame side. Definitely no Ken Block and really not even as good as the Baldwin stuff. Maybe I’m in a shitty mood, but I give it a Bah.

We’re getting ready to put in a bunch of hydrogen infrastructure here. Someone knows where the really green future will be. Now, if we could just get some more nuclear plants in the works…we’d be ready for a slightly better future. We want it all to run on electricity, but aren’t creating the energy sources or transmission facilities that would be required for that dream.
