I don’t. I’ve been able to hold out on this for a long time. Was so close when I started this thread and cooled myself off. Now it’s going to be even harder to pass up.

He brought it to the office today since I didn’t go by his place last night and wouldn’t get to go til the weekend probably. Holy crap it’s quiet. I’ve gotta get a tutorial out of our resident foam cutting expert so we can at up his hard case. got the Donny FL Shogun moderator for it. Will get some pics up.

His text last night after getting to play with it. To clarify, he’s been getting rid of some peat birds that have done thousands in damage to wood on the house. You should have seen his garage door last year. It’s a nice wood roll up that had a few hundred holes in it and a handful of acorns.

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

He made it out stuffed in a box. Had to stay in a hotel a couple hours north so we could get him from transport at 6:30 this morning. Home and loving the boys. -
He’s $3400 into an $1100 rifle between tanks, scope, bipod and some odds and ends. That’s been part of my holdup in doing it. He opted for the .25 caliber which is what I was leaning towards. Gonna be fun to test out on some ground squirrels tonight.

Yum. That’s gotta be delicious that fresh.

So my dad beat me to it. He is picking up his FX dreamlite today and a bunch of goodies to go with it. We’ll get to play a little this weekend and see how it goes. This stuff gets pricey quick. I thought 308’s were bad.

There are better options from G if you’re looking for a target trigger. National Match stuff started it all and might be better suited. SSA and SSA-E are great triggers, but not really designed for the bench from what I recall. I have an E on a 5.56 I built for my dad and it’s a great shooter for a 14.5” pencil barrel. I have a Designated Marksman on a 24” bull barreled 5.56 and like it, but I don’t shoot that gun much. I put the MBT on a .22 for my oldest son and would consider running more of those. Really are great triggers for the price. All depends on how you plan to use the rifle. the at armalite kit is mentioned in several threads here. @98Z5V can spit out the SKU for it. You could read through a couple threads where people seem to be having trouble and it gets mentioned almost every time. And 99% of the time…that alone fixes their issue. It’s just proven parts that work. There are plenty of other good options out there, but this one is undeniably going to function. Put it on first and never worry about that part again unless you’re tuning a race gun to a particular ammo.

Pineapple Canadian bacon and red peppers. Call it weird if you want to…more for me.

Lol. That sounds like us when we hear AR-10….the BBQ vs Grilling thing. I love it.

I’m trying to find someone with a spit on a trailer. I want to do a full hog for our housewarming. And I’m not in a position to build something like that. Yet. welcome again. Sorry we derailed your intro thread, but we like burning meat around here. There are some great cooks around and I don’t think you’ll have anyone telling you the right way to get a good sear on your wiener.

He started it talking smack about my hotdogs and hamburgers.

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

Our oldest was really smart, the younger one was extra inbred retarded, but she was sweet. We’ll see what we get with this one. We’re really excited to have a pup on the way again. -

Our last two pups were boxers and it’s been a couple years since e had to put the last one down. Been waiting to finish building a house to get a new pup. It’s a little early, but we’re ready for a dog again. The boys need one to follow them around the yard. -

Working out the details, but my wife fell in love with a pup from Ohio. Trying to work out the transport…so he’s not in the mail yet, but close. His name is Scotch. -
Welcome from San Diego. Read up on some of the “having trouble with…” threads before you buy too many parts. Might help you shop for things that will land you better results from the start.
-
Sorry. That’s a portion to be later determined as a percentage by dividing this particular problem by (the total number of issues times the magnitude of their relevance). I can put that in a longer equation if necessary.
-
That’s most of your issue in that pic.

It a somewhat @jtallen83 -ish opinion…is it the left that wants us to have that insurance..or insurance brokers pulling some weight in the anti gun world. Follow the money. X-million new insurance policies sounds like a new yacht.

First fireworks. If we don’t count the ones from last night. We got to watch from right where they launched them.
