I sense a recall coming

They will email a return Label for FedEx , ( the only carrier that will accept Firearms ) & will be shipped back to my address , with signature , of course . -
I used to train my German Short Hairs with shot guns also, but not to a gun range , training area , of course . Just strange to me .
-
I tested a couple of the rounds loaded with the Lees Die & the one seated with the Forster with my Concentricity gage , at the Bullet of the loaded rounds & there was no difference in run out between the two , all had a total 0.003" run out , some could be the Bullet . I get a total of 0.001" from Sierra Match Bullets in a 308. I will do some more testing to see if if the Case neck is causing the run out or the Bullet & or both.

I will order both Lapping tools , didn't know anyone had them configured that way . Seems the ones I have seen use the Upper Receivers Barrel Extension area as a bearing / alignment area. The last two times I have wanted to go to the range , we had 35-40 mph gusting winds & I need to sight in two rifles , not a good environment for sighting in.

Now thats a good tool , might have to look into that one . For 308AR 's, right ? 18" , WTF , thats an astounding number for a correction for facing the Barrel face on the Receiver , makes me wonder how much the Loctite helped , if any . Very good results .

FTF issue with new Diamondback DB-10

Magnification should shrink group size , as will a good Trigger . -
There is no doubt the 1986 act is unconstitutional . I was a Class three FFL back then . Its got nothing to do with the Bump stock , its an accessory , period ! Not covered under the second , its not all that popular , unless you like to waste ammo , which if you got the $$ to waste , save it for a NFA select fire weapon . Contrary to some people here , plenty of select fire NFA weapons for sale out there . Its how they got around the 2ND Amendment , they believed didn't really take anything away from us ( but they really did ) They just made them only available for people with a lot of $$ . I sold all my NFA weapons & I had a bunch of them , I couldn't afford to shoot them like I used to . Its a rich mans game now a days , is it right , NO !

I have the same Crescent wrench for use on my reloading bench I loaded with a RCBS beam scale for many , many years , but a good digital scale is far more consistent , I'm not a high roller as Sisco , but I'm using a Pact scale now a days .

I said that in an earlier post . The Bump fire or crank fire or what ever , has nothing to do with firearms , its a stock system or a hand crank to get around the NFA & not part of the Second amendment .They can do what ever they want to it . Its not infringing on the Second Amendment . Face it , if you want a Select fire weapon , you can buy it , they just cost a lot . You can say the bump stock is a poor mans full auto , but now people know its out there & wondering why , because of one POS , its gone . I have had a lot of people who asked me , what is that thing & how come its legal to do that , of course , because of some animal , its front & center & will take one for the team . For me , I could care less . it can go Bye , no big deal . People can just jump up & down & scream that its part of their rights , but its not , no where near it . I always said , I was surprised it was Ok'd by O'Buttheads ATF anyway . I would be more worried on what they try to pile on with this .

Both Nice . Of course the one with the photo , wins!

Remove the Hammer & see if it still gets stuck & you did say the one with the duel Extractors worked OK , right ? All Receiver Extensions ( Buffer Tubes ) have the same inside diameter , its the outside diameter. thats different from the Milspec & Commercial . The Length of the different Receiver extension can have a subject all on its own .
-
That statement needs some clarification . Are you forcing the BCG back into battery to get it to loosen it up ?
-
Your on the right track , if you don't have good contact at the Barrel Extension Flange & Upper Receiver , heat may well cause it to print funny . I lap all my upper Receivers , Have been doing it that way since I started building AR's . The Loctite is also a good idea from Criterion Barrels , that I have started doing lately also . The only issue I have with the Lapping tool is , that there is absolutely no way you can keep Lapping compound out of the Upper Receivers Barrel socket . While Lapping the Flange face , some Compound will be pushed in the Upper Receiver & also Lapping that area . but the Loctite should fill & secure it , if any fitment issue . Edit , It could also be the Barrel itself.

They are saying now that they believe he may have had an accomplice ? Now did the accomplice pop a cap into him & escape ? wow , the tin foil just shifted on my hat . They also found several of the Bump Fire equipped Rifles had Jams & thats why they were tossed aside .

The Forster Match Seating Die came today & I loaded one round & the Die worked just great , a little tight in the Cartridge Guide & a slight sticky on the way out , but thats easily taken care of . I have to make more 25-45 Sharps Brass to load up .

Got this Email from SIG Sauer yesterday about Upgrades. "Thank you for successfully registering your P320 for SIG SAUER’s no-cost Voluntary Upgrade Program. It is our goal to keep you informed throughout this process. We will begin sending information and labels required for returning your P320 throughout October and November. Shipping labels will go out in stages based on when each P320 was registered so you may not see yours immediately. We would also like to take this opportunity to verify your return shipment information.Keep in mind that we must have a physical residential address to return your firearm to you (no business or PO Box addresses will be accepted), and an adult over 21 years of age will need to be home to sign for the returned pistol." -
If you look at the upper part to the Ejection port ( DPMS LR 308 ), you can see the contact of the FA on the BC . Contact is here on the BCG Comparison to an M16 BCG There is a Manufacturer which made or makes a Upper Receiver & Bolt Carrier, that works just like the AR 15 family .
