Try this , The transfer to YT seemed to reduce the quality of the video , because on my file is pure clarity . I also use the Tether that came with the camera now , so it doesn't fly off . !2 ga. Remington magnum Pump, with a Original Hastings Cantilever mount , rifled Barrel .

DPMS .308 16" Bbl with Standard Stock?
survivalshop replied to acgeorge's topic in Building a .308AR
Are there any marks on the inside of the Lower Receiver , where the BCG enters the Receiver Extension ? Can you manually engage the Bolt Stop ? Wilh an empty Mag inserted into the Rifle , will the Bolt Stop engage the Bolt Face ? Formerly Part #: 308-BS-10B.308 Standard Buffer Spring Length - 12 3/4'', 39 coils. Buffer Length: 5 1/4" *Note* The DPMS LR-308 platform rifles use a proprietary recoil buffer and spring; although similar looking these parts are not interchangeable with standard AR-15 rifles FOR GEN 1 RIFLES ONLY -
Micro Card , I think I can go to 32G , I will have to look whats in there . Mine is an older version , not supported anymore & its no comparable with MAC , not sure it will work on the newer Windows , but unless I screw up somewhere & it needs to be reprogramed , I'm OK with the way its set up . I will upload one of my hunts with it to youtube .

Here is the one I have , but mine is no longer supported & I think it was $199 many years ago . You see a lot of these cameras on war fighters in the early days of the Middle east conflict .http://contour.com

I use the first generation of the Contour camera , 1080 P , I have a Rail mount & a couple of Ring type mounts that can be attached like a Ring on the Scope , it has a 2" Rail I think . I have a ring mounted on my Slug Gun Scope & my Crossbow Scope . The one on the Slug gun I move it depending on what Firearm I'm using . With any AR , I just mount it to a Rail , the camera Lens can be rotated for just about any degree , has laser aiming for lens orientation . I can mount it to a Helmet also . I have a couple of Hunting Videos of shots , both with Slug gun & Crossbow .

Works great ,much quieter then the 16" without the Brake .

I did get some Trigger time with the JMT , not in the 300BLK I first installed it in , but my 25-45 Sharps build , but it failed testing . Had multiple double fires when it did reset , most of the time the Hammer never reset to cocked position . I believe the Hammer was following the BCG back into battery . The double taps happened with the first mag or two , then it was a one shot , recharge the action ,then one shot , would not reset on firing a round , even though the action would lock back on last round with the Mag. every time . So I talked to them on the Phone & they sent me a Return Label to send it back & I got it back pretty quick , about a week turn around . The back of the package reads it was inspected , the Hammer looks new , not a mark on it , were the one I sent had BC friction marks on the Hammer face , looks good & I installed it back in the 25-45 Sharps to test this week . I will take some trigger measurements later , for breaking pressure , but it feels good , as did the first one , slight amount of creep & crisp release .

I think I remember Nathan talking about that somewhere , I'll have to look around on where I read it or it was in one of the Videos

I sense a recall coming
survivalshop replied to Robocop1051's topic in Firearm Industry News and Gossip
More then likely , from what I have been reading , the Military contract pistol has these upgrades already , with a thumb Safety . some think the omitting of these upgrades or configuration , was a cost cutting for the Civilian version . They say this is why Sig was so quick to have this upgrade , it was like, the next day they had a working upgrade to fix the issue , thats fast. The lawsuit from the LEO , sure has a bunch of BS from Connecticut, Just don't drop you firearm , period . We really don't know what happened , though the LEO had a great deal of experience . There is another recall for a different manufacturer that has a alert for upgrade to a severe duty upgrade .https://www.ammoland.com/2017/09/century-arms-announces-product-safety-warning-severe-duty-upgrade-notice/#axzz4smpBqlTX -
I think you may find 10.7 Grams of H 110 to be a bit much ( 10.7 Grams = 165.126234 grains ) WE know you meant Grains of Powder . Great to hear your into the 300BLK , it was my favorite cartridge to shoot , till I built a 25-45 Sharps

I heard Nathan no longer works for Faxon , so there may be someone to take his place , hopefully soon .

Hard to compare Barrels & Calibers , far too many variables , plus you already had this load made up to shoot well in another rifle , 243 is a good caliber . With the right Barrel & loads the 308 is more then capable of producing the same results . Good to see the rifle is shooting good though .

Power & Internet back up , that Means A/C & hot water !

Do you have or have had flood insurance ? The Government run Flood Insurance only will cover about 25% , then if you want more coverage , you need to go to your Home Owners Insurance , for the rest & that IS Expensive . I choose sand bags , for the next time , if there is a next time
-
No flood insurance , never seen it like this before , famous last words . Me thinks sand bags are in my future .

No power or Internet & the water that was almost up to my house last night , has gone away this morning , that I was thankful for & I have a Generator .

survivalshop replied to bfoosh006's topic in Palmetto State Armory
They are made of Stainless Steel with some kind of paint or something & with use it does come off , as you can see in the Photos blow of a well used Test CP mag, probably has 1K or more rounds through it with multiple 308AR's . New in the wrapper Opened new one one on the right has had a lot of rounds trough it . -

Evidently a new version of the CProducts Mag . after they were sold or bought out . My original CProducts mags are top notch. I have almost twenty of them ,some of them are still in original wrappers . -

I just love these sights , I took the ( empty ) Pistol into the wife while she was watching TV in the dark bedroom , she was amazed at how well they could bee seen . Day time is even better . You can see the install with the Wheeler Engineering Armorers tool in the Top section . I need to get more of these on some of my Pistols . Before After
