I would say the upper or lower receiver is out of spec and not letting the bolt carrier push the buffer back off the detent that holds the buffer and spring in. Thus is causing the buffer to come forward and hit the buffer retaining plunger?

The one on the right kind of looks like it could be about the same as a PIC rail? The local shop has all of their products on hand, but I never looked to close at them. To many other toys to look at in there!!! I will take my red dot down there and see if it fits on one, I am curious now?

I like those VLTOR matching lowers. I have always liked the looks of the VLTOR uppers that I have had in the past.

I don't think the one on the left will work with the Bushnel Red Dot, but the one on the right will work if that is the same as a picatinny rail on top?

I have always wanted to build one, as I have a bunch of 33 round Glock mags sitting around. But I have not seen one that uses Glock mags. But there is a rifle being made, that resembles an AR that uses Glock Mags. Costs about $750 for the whole setup!!!

If it ever gets above 40 degrees, I will get out there and do some shooting. The Nikon is Great, very clear!!! But, the only thing I have done with this whole setup is go out in my yard and fire off some test rounds and break-in rounds and some rounds to set up the JP adjustable gas block... I really want to do some accuracy testing? I hope this thing shoots alright, as I really do not know much about Kaiser barrels and how they shoot? The cats have the FDE covered, but they put it on the inside!!!

I have one!!! They work as advertised for the MS2 sling from Magpul. I have tried about every sling and attachment system out there and this is the one I settled on. It does it all!!!
