I guess the idea behind the heavy buffer is not if it works or not, but that I think it slows the carrier down to reduce recoil? Someone want to add to this? I think Matt Cross would know a little more about this?

You can get a heavier buffer at heavybuffers.com, as I did this. Not sure if it changes anything?

I have also ordered some non FFL items and it was ok service, but have heard other horror stories also?

Does it not go on there anyway, to help hold the tube in place along with the castle nut? I have not looked to close at a POF?

Go to Brownels. They have all that you need. You can use the carbine buffer on any 308 AR, you just need the 308 specific spring and buffer for either the carbine or rifle length buffer tube.

It makes a world of difference!!! I shot it with the factory stock and knock the crap out of me. Then I installed the Endine and I could shoot all day!!! Well worth the money!!!

I have the Mesa Tactical buttstock adapter mated to an Endine recoil reducing stock tube and a Magpul ACS stock slipped on there. Added a Magpul MIAD, Mesa Tactical 4 shot sidesaddle, Botac Tactical KZ railed forearm with black ladder rails and a Nordic Components front side rail. Its outfitted with XS site blade up front and XS Ghost ring in back. I plan on putting on a EOTECH XPS2-0 in the near future.

I just went and checked what I had, and its the Alluma-Hyde II spray paint. Don't let the name fool you, it is for all surfaces!!!

Brownells has some very good options. They sell some stuff that is like spraypaint, but is a lot more durable!

You can put it on there, they are the same as all the AR15 A2 buttstocks.
