Hi Guys Ive got four rr nm triggers installed in assorted ar's and they for the money are fairly nice triggers. So, this last 308 build I cowboy up and spend twice the money on the geislie ssa enhanced whatever trigger thats supposed to be the candy cane ice like super second stage break.. No freakin way....ive never been dissapointed in a component like I have with this trigger. I called tech they said it needs breakin..ok its broke in .. I lined up three of my rr ar's along side this one.... and in a blindfold test you couldnt tell the difference....Yes I did get emails from Bill himself telling me his trigger has got the fine second stage break, but so does rr he said...sooo im paying twice as much for the same trigger....YIKES! <dontknow> Wash

Hi Toshu! I had the sass barrel mounted on a megs ma 10 upper/lower using a troy extreme battle rail that covered the gasblock. this new build is identical cept for the ranier barrel and the trigger,,,this new build weighs hardly more than any of my 6.8spc 's ar15. Go to rainier for the profile...its the 18" select in black <thumbsup> Wash

Hi Toshu I couldnt lift the rifle to shoot it with the sass...that was the only problem..it was very accurate....but oh so heavy <dontknow> Wash

Gas tube roll pin into gas block - HELP!
washguy replied to speeddreamz's topic in Building a .308AR
I Just had the same thing happen on Friday afternoon with a stag low profile . I used my roll pin starter...then it just kinda didnt feel right so i stopped tapping....pulled out the pin....checked the holes for lineup with a mini jewlers screwdriver....nope no go...got another fresh gas tube nah its perfect....ran a small punch through the gas block sure enough its drilled crooked...something like I would do 8) so called up the vendor and he said this is the second one like that and he would send a different brand right on out...i told him i needed to go shootin and that im gonna drive the roll pin through the gb and the pin will certainly bend and remain lodged in the gas tube...he said go for it and he would send a fresh gas tube too....it all worked out Yippee <thumbsup> Wash -

Hi Guys Here's mega #2 she's called black beauty <laughs> I know...but it wasnt me doing the naming identical build cept for the rainier barrel replacing the dpms sass barrel ,and a geislie super speed enhanced trigger replacing the RR national match.... this geislie is a big letdown it costs more than twice as much and ill bet you a dollar to a doughnut you couldnt tell the diff in a blind test! took two shots to center the scope at 100 then off to two hundred for some break in....this rifle doesnt weigh hardly anymore than my 6.8"s and over 5 lbs lighter than lil blackie! the rainier barrel and their customer service is topnotch! <thumbsup> Wash
