Why stop there? <munch>get a good one ...you may have to spot zombies coming from afar ,you dont want them within 200 or even 500 <munch> thats what you got the 308 for right? <thumbsup> Wash
EXACTLTY ! Thats why you need a good tripod! Me and Gal friend showed up at the gunclub last summer with a Konus bad azz scope so they said... and a lil fancy carbon fiber tripod <laughs> first off the konus couldnt see a 6.8 hole in the paper past 200 yards.the wind was blowing bout ten mpg looking thru the scope for more than a few seconds would make ya seasick <laughs> cause the fancy lil carbon fiber legs were vibrating....soooo sent the Konus back ...sent the lil carbon fiber legs back..and when i went back to the range i opened my eyes and looked at what some of the pro's were using as for as tripods at least.....the scopes they were using were too costly for my taste.Spent a month looking at scopes and tripods....i cant believe this cabellas cab-80 is the winner....but its awesome...you can see the marks on steel at 500yds.....the tripod is rock steady <laughs> this ia a keeper some of the pros had em....they are antique majestic tripods for those big ol cameras they had back in the day wooden handles and all... when you put it on a setting, it dont move! The target at 500 is rock steady even in a wind! One more thing ..those angled eyepieces suk on a spotting scope...do yourself a favor...get a straight eyepiece ...and also when i first posted I thought it was a vortex, but it was a konus instead <munch>Wash
Okay im still blurry eyed <lmao> one thing save yourself a 100 bills and get the rr national match....I always start the New Year off with my flame suit on <lmao> send me 170 and ill send you the geislie trigger.... Oh I have some of the super duper polar sub molecular extra virgin sub atomic trigger grease that comes with them that makes them work so well <lmao> Wash
Hey Bud Tell me bout the bodyguard...my gal has been lookin at them for carry,,,do ya like it? hows recoil for a gal? shes fine with her 308 and 6.8 but she's a woos on handguns <laughs> give us a play by play on it ..will ya? <thumbsup> Wash
Hiya Good news on bolt staying open...riding the charging handle slowly will cause the bolt not to go into battery,so thats normal...thats why you pull back on charging handle and let er fly. did you go to a good lube like slp or clp and get that heavy mtor oil off? Wash
Hi Eggie put down the sandpaper/dowl and lube, and back up slowly with your hands up <laughs> Firstly an ar and an ar 308 dont feel the same ever on workin parts <laughs> the 308 is usually stiffer on moving parts....sooo we have got to start off with one round in a mag...fire...does the bolt hold back? did the spent shell eject with authority? what does the shell look like any marks? Try a couple of rounds...did the bolt hold open on the last shell? Get rid of that lube get some slp or just use some clp... is it cold where you are shootin....if it is....your lube is too heavy for the cold. get back after you do the function check okay? <thumbsup> Wash
Hi Shaggy! The pepr mount is great...puts the scope at right height...doesnt weight much very well built.....the muzzle brake wasnt "timed" when pic was taken...lol the three holes on left side are now 90 degrees as they should be...good eye!
Hiya been doing cut shells since 1989...we were doing our tues nite skket league when one of my squad members after the shoot showed me the cut shell deal...freakin wild.. the shell was sent over 150 plus yds into a lake behind the skeet field...one thing dont be using a tight choke when doing this....you may cause a boomer inside the barrel <munch> Wash
Hey Soo Good JOb! workin things out soo soon After your rearending <munch> geeez....dont ya love it when ya spit in the eye of adersity and Pull it off? <thumbsup>
